New Vancouver terminus could boost traffic

Moving the terminus of Seattle-to-Vancouver trains to Surrey would boost tourism and make adding to the timetable more feasible, according to a report in a Canadian paper.

This guys is high. The only people benefitting from the train terminating in Surrey are Surrey residents. Eh wait a minute, the source is actually a Surrey paper… never mind

But maybe it’s not so crazy. Not having to cross that crowded bridge at New Westminster would make the trip to Vancouver shorter, even with the SkyTrain segment. And there are plenty of people who aren’t bound for downtown Vancouver.
