Tuscan resort coming to … Yakima

Work could begin this summer on a $500 million Tuscan-themed village on a ridge east of Yakima, potentially diversifying the economy of an area that already promotes itself as Washington’s Palm Springs.

Concentrating growth in towns in order to preserve open space and farmland would be ideal. But planned development is the next best option — the project already is being compared to Suncadia, a resort community near Ellensburg that targets Seattle refugees.

The Vineyards project would be developed by a group that put together resorts in Crested Butte, Colo. and in Mexico. Eagle Resort Development already mentions the area on its web site.

    To Mr. Bradly Meacham,
My wife and I are looking to move out to that area, or any location. We will beable to start on jobs the end of May, first of June. We have been in business for 20 years as owner, operators of a garden center, greenhouse, landscaping, business. Family owned and opperated since 1958. I was raised in the business. We also own and operate an Equine facility, which we have been into horses for many years. I do all phases of horsemanship programs. We are selling out, and wanting to go on to another business venture. We also worked at a place called Timber Creek condominium developement in Vermont. I worked in management seeing over home owner service work. My wife worked in rental and sales department. She sells real state now, and has for 8 years. Was president with the board of realators. We are very people friendly, and hard workers. So if you would please e-mail us back to see if there are any open doors for us, we would be glad to put all of our heads together, weather it be Rental, Sales, Landscaping, or getting an Equine Facility built, and up and running if in part of the plans. We have done all the above.
    Thank You
